Dear parents and families,
We’ve had a wonderful spring semester on the Danforth Campus! From the Center for Career Engagement’s Spring Career Expo, to one of our acapella groups, Mosaic Whispers, making it to the finals of the ICCA, to our winter sports advancing in postseason play—including two individual national champions—the campus has been active.
As students work hard to finish up the academic year, we will again offer our Rapid Access Counseling Zoom Appointments through the Center for Counseling & Psychological Services (CCPS) starting on April 14. Using our student portal, students will be able to schedule both returning and new appointments with a counselor beginning 16 hours prior to the time they would like to be seen—with no wait. Details will be posted for students early next week on the CCPS website.
Finally, I hope your student has been taking advantage of all the different opportunities to get involved this semester. If they want to connect with other service-minded students, Campus Life is hosting a Day of Service on April 12, joining the efforts of community organizations around St. Louis to make a positive impact in our region. There’s also one last Dr. G’s Fun House this coming Monday, April 7 on Mudd Field with free food, activities, music and the opportunity to have BIG FUN!
Warmly,
Anna "Dr. G" Gonzalez
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

During those 24 hours, we invite you to come together with the university community to support scholarships, drive innovative research, and invest in the student experience. Gifts of any amount will count toward our goal of 3,000 donors.

Workday Student, the new student administrative system, launched in September 2024. The Student Sunrise project is committed to supporting WashU students, faculty and staff with the help and resources they will need as WashU transitions to the new system. Michael Coffman, Technical Project Director, and Ellen Rostand, Change Management Project Director, joined us for a conversation about the transition to Workday and what WashU families can expect. View this recording on our Family Webinar Series page.
