June BEP estimates for 2016-2017 are now available for counties operating school systems.  To view BEP estimates, click here.  The worksheets for each county school system are listed in alphabetical order.  If you are interested in seeing BEP estimates for city school systems or special school districts in your county, please contact Jessica Himes at tcsa.himes@tncounties.org.  The final July numbers should be available around the middle of next month. 
The County Technical Assistance Service (CTAS) has compiled the 2016 edition of the Index of Acts.  This publication contains summaries of acts passed by the General Assembly in 2016 that may be of interest to county governments.  These summaries are intended for information only and should not be relied upon for implementation purposes.  Click here to read the Index of Acts as prepared by CTAS.  The full text of all acts summaried in the Index of Acts can be viewed on the Secretary of State's website, here.  
Every June, the National Safety Council sponsors National Safety Month.  This year's theme is "Safe for Life" which focuses on reducing leading causes of injury and death at work, on the roards, and in our homes and communities.  The theme for the final week in June is "Make Good Choices While Driving".  Click here to read the National Safety Council's safety tips for safer driving.
