Algorithmic Bias: Myth of Reality?
On Tuesday, April 4, at 6–8:30 p.m. in Alumnae Hall or via Zoom, join Dean Karen Panetta and the School of Engineering Office of Graduate Programs for dinner and a lecture with Dr. Anu Gokhale, Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Information Systems at Saint Augustine's University. Professor Gokhale will investigate real-life examples of artificial intelligence, algorithm design, and the adage that humans are fallible while computers are logical and impartial with no implicit bias. Undergraduates are welcome!

Stations of the Cross Hosted by the Catholic Chaplaincy
Each year during Holy Week, we dwell in the story of Jesus' passion. We read and reread the scriptures, but there is one practice that brings it all to life: inviting the faithful to experience this story in an embodied way, the way of the cross. Building upon our virtual gathering last year and with the inspired leadership of Sebastian Fernandez, E24, on Wednesday, April 5, at 5 p.m. at Goddard Chapel, we will gather together for this mini-pilgrimage together with Jesus and one another.

Feasting Scripts: The Haptics of Debt and Fantasy on Sri Lanka's Plantations
On Thursday, April 6, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in the Curtis Hall Multipurpose Room or virtually, join Mythri Jegathesan from the Department of Anthropology at Santa Clara University for a lecture about Sri Lanka's portrayal in Hollywood and themes of political injustice, built environments, and film. Good Friday Ecumenical Service at Goddard Chapel
With many Christians all over the world, we gather on Good Friday to bear witness to Jesus' Passion. Hosted by Catholic Chaplain Lynn Cooper and Protestant Chaplain Dan Bell on Friday, April 7, at 12 noon, this service is a time of prayer and song as we keep vigil and stay awake to the tombs in our world and the tombs in our heart. If you are interested in singing or playing an instrument, please email Suzie Cartreine, University Chaplaincy Music Director. Rehearsals will be scheduled soon.

Evergreen: The Exhibition
ONYX, Tufts' premier Africana literary magazine, is hosting Evergreen: the Exhibition. Evergreen stands as ONYX's first campus-wide event since the publication's 2016 hiatus. The exhibition will feature work from Black artists from Tufts and throughout the Boston area and will consist of both a gallery walk and performance. Join ONYX on Saturday, April 8, in the Coolidge Room at 5:30–9 p.m. to celebrate the work and experiences of Black artists in the community. The publication is currently accepting submissions in all mediums.
