| Navigating Law School Admissions |
Waitlisted? Deferring? No $$? Now what?! Join us Monday, February 3, at 6:30–8 p.m. on Zoom to hear from a panel of admissions experts about what to do as you wait to hear from law schools and weigh your options. Admissions staff and current law students from Harvard, Georgetown, and UC Berkeley will share their insights. This event is geared toward those with pending law school applications or applying next cycle, but all are welcome.

Police Corruption and Racial Violence in Boston: The 1990s to Now |
On Tuesday, February 4, at 4 p.m., join a screening and discussion of Netflix's Trial 4, a documentary about exoneree Sean Ellis' fight to prove his innocence after being wrongfully incarcerated for 22 years for the murder of a Boston police officer. Following the screening, Ellis, now the Director of the Exoneree Network, will be in conversation with his attorney, Massachusetts lawyer Rosemary Scapicchio.

| MLK Community Day of Action |
On Wednesday, February 5, at 6–8 p.m. at the Interfaith Center, join the Interfaith Ambassador team in its annual Day of Community Action! This year's focus is Housing Justice, and we will hear from a panel of local activists. Dinner will be served, and you will have the opportunity to sign up to volunteer with various organizations throughout the semester. Film Screening and Panel: Admissions Granted
|
On Thursday, February 6, at 6 p.m., join a screening of the new documentary Admissions Granted, which explores the complex issues around Asian Americans, college admissions, and affirmative action. There will be a post-screening discussion with the film's co-directors Miao Wang and Hao Wu, Tufts Dean of Undergraduate Admissions JT Duck, Tufts undergraduate Anevay Ybanez, and Tufts Sociology Professor Natasha Warikoo. Pizza will be provided.

Preserving Our Legacy through Personal Archives |
We are holding an event on "Preserving Our Legacy Through Personal Archives" on Thursday, February 6, at 7 p.m. at the Tisch Library DSDI Center. Join Sub-Sahara Africa Research Group (SSARG) and Onyx for a special Black History Month collaboration! We're excited to welcome alumna Julie Francois, who will share her experience exploring the Tufts archives and discuss the importance of preserving history. We'll also create our own personal archives using photographs from our own experiences.

| Career Center Internship Grant Information Session |
Are you looking for funding for your unpaid summer internship? Attend an information session on Friday, February 7, at 12:30–1:30 p.m. either in person (Dowling Hall Milmore Room) OR virtually via Zoom. You'll learn everything you need to know to submit a successful application for the Career Center Internship Grant, which funds about 50 students annually with a $4,500 stipend for unpaid summer internships. Learn about the application and get all your questions answered!

SMFA Documenting Your Work Workshop |
Join Chris Maliga, Katy Scott-Harvey, and the SMFA career center on Friday, February 7, in SMFA at Tufts Room A310 for a hands-on workshop to learn the basics of documenting your work. Pizza will be served. All students registered must attend the workshop at 1:30–2:30 p.m. Each student will then be allowed a 15-minute timeslot to photograph their work in the space provided for documentation. Technical support will be provided. Please sign up for a timeslot in advance and review instructions carefully.

The deadline to apply to be a Student Accessibility and Academic Resources (StAAR) Center Peer Tutor or Writing Fellow for academic year 2025–2026 is Sunday, February 9.

The Tufts School of Engineering will host events, challenges, networking opportunities, and much, much more! EWeek is for everyone, and all are welcome to attend events and to celebrate the week. Early events start on February 8.

Reminder About Upcoming Deadlines
February 15 is the Major Declaration deadline for first-year Engineering students.
March 1 is the Major Declaration deadline for sophomore A&S students.

| Time to Apply for 2025–2026 Financial Aid |
The deadline to submit your 2025–2026 financial aid documents is April 15. Log in to SIS to view your personalized list of required financial aid documents and see what Tufts already received. You can access this list by clicking the Awards and Documents link in the Financial Aid tab, then selecting "Documents & Messages" from the Menu.
Please note additional required documents may be added after you submit your initial application. Please check SIS periodically to see if additional documents are requested.
U.S. citizens and permanent residents: To be considered for federal loans only, submit the FAFSA and complete the request form in SIS (in the Financial Aid portal, select "Federal Aid Only Request" from the Menu) to notify our office that you will not apply for Tufts grant aid.
