The Presidential Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Sac State will host a four-day Vote Center at Modoc Hall from Saturday, March 2nd through Tuesday, March 5th. Vote Center hours are Saturday-Monday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. On Election Day (Tuesday, March 5th), the Vote Center hours are 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Parking is free in designated spaces. Sacramento County voters may visit the Vote Center for:
- Early Voting: A voter may pick up and/or vote-by-mail ballot.
- Same Day Voter Registration: Voters can conditionally register and vote after the 15-day voter registration deadline.
- Ballot Drop-Off: A secured box where vote-by-mail ballots may be dropped off.
Voting locations will offer voter registration, replacement ballots, accessible voting machines, and language assistance.
Currently, a Ballot Drop-Off Box is available at The Welcome Center, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until March 5, 2024.
