June 30, 2020
Hello Jumbos,
Last week, you learned of Tufts' plans for the fall semester. We hope that you've been able to review the Fall 2020 Return to Campus Guide for Students, and submitted your Fall 2020 Intent Form. As a reminder, the form is due Tuesday, July 7. If you have additional questions that are not answered in the FAQs or Friday's Incoming Student Town Hall, please do not hesitate to reach out to studentservices@tufts.edu. The team is here to assist you in making your decision.

As we look ahead, this week we'll be exploring resources provided by the Tufts Career Center! If you have additional questions, you can always reach out to the Career Center at careercenter@tufts.edu.

The Tufts Career Center

The first year is a unique time for growth, exploration, and more.  The Tufts Career Center offers extensive resources to help you explore career options and develop strategies for pursuing your goals. These include career education programs, Career Fellows (undergraduate peer advisors) to introduce you to the Career Center, individual career advising appointments, and comprehensive resources designed to help you assess your skills, interests, values, competencies and experiences.  We’ll be here to support you with most of our services and resources offered in a virtual format, and we’re launching a new and enhanced website in the fall.
As a Tufts student, you’ll also gain access to Handshake in late August. Handshake is our online platform for jobs, internships, and career events. Through this system, you can receive internship recommendations tailored to your interests, search for student employment opportunities, RSVP for virtual career events, and more.
Basic Elements of Your Career Development Journey
Each of these areas involves action steps that we will help you complete before you move on to your next career development phase.
