Rehabilitation Loan Program and Emergency & Accessibility Loan Program Document Submission Changes and Reminders
Please review the following eNews with important changes and reminders about submission of Rehabilitation Loan Program/Emergency & Accessibility Loan Program (RLP/ELP) documents.
The processes below are effective January 1, 2021.
Full Loan File Documents
All documents in a loan file must be uploaded to the Loan Commitment System within 45 days of the loan closing. These documents must be uploaded to the Closed Loan File category. For RLP loans, some documents may have already been uploaded during the pre-close review process. Lenders may choose to upload all documents again or only documents that had not been previously uploaded. Regardless of which option you choose, please ensure that all documents in the loan file are uploaded within 45 days of the loan closing.
Post-Close and Final Documents
Please review the RLP and ELP Loan Transmittal Form for instructions on submitting post-close and final documents. Some of these documents may have already been submitted with the full loan file (see above). Please submit these documents again because they will be posted to a different area within the Agency. Additionally, other documents, such as recorded loan documents, likely would not have been uploaded with the full loan file.
Upload all post-close documents to the Loan Commitment System within 5 days of loan purchase. Upload all final documents, including recorded documents to the Loan Commitment System within 180 days of loan closing. These documents must be uploaded to the Trailing Documents category.
NOTE: Originals of all post-close and final documents noted in the RLP and ELP Loan Transmittal Form must be mailed to AmeriNat.
Project Completion Documents
After rehabilitation has been fully completed, please upload all project completion documents to the Closed Loan File category in the Loan Commitment System. Please note, projects must be completed and project completion documents must be submitted within 9 months of loan closing.
