Our statewide closure mandate has been lifted!  We’re all back and ready to help you maintain- “Healthy Teeth and Gums for Life!”  However, we are also laser focused on keeping our patients and our team safe from COVID-19.  To that end you’ll notice a whole new normal for infection control, but the same level of dedication, warmth and personal service you recall.  The link between oral health and systemic health is clear and considerable.  Now more than ever it’s crucial that we get and stay healthy – which includes Oral Health!  We’re waiting for your call. 239 320-3331

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We strictly follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies closely so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued which ensures that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations. Therefore, you may see some changes at your next appointment. Again, we made these changes to help protect our patients and team.

Just a few of our new protocols (too many to list in this email!) –

✔ Everyone entering the office will have to pass our COVID-19 screening test including having their temperature taken each and every day (team members included).

✔ Everyone entering the office will immediately use hand sanitizer

✔ You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer newspapers or magazines since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

✔ We will maintain social distancing throughout the office, with the obvious exception of actual dental treatment

✔ Patient’s will be permitted to wait in their vehicles

✔ Check-in and check-out areas will be limited to one patient at a time

✔ Staggered scheduling to reduce traffic volume allowing for social distancing between patients

✔ All common areas, including restrooms, will be disinfected every 30 minutes.

✔ Extra time will be given after each visit for thorough and meticulous attention to Universal Infection Control procedures and sterilization
