Ordination of seminarian Matthew Donahue rescheduled for July 21
Bishop Richard F. Stika will ordain seminarian Matthew Donahue to the transitional diaconate on Tuesday, July 21, at 6 p.m., at St. John Neumann Church in Farragut. The ordination was postponed by Bishop Stika following his announcement that he would self-quarantine after the possibility that he may have been exposed to COVID-19. His COVID-19 test was negative.
Mr. Donahue studied at the Pontifical North American College in Rome. Last fall, he spoke about life as a seminarian and studying in Rome on the podcast Inside the Diocese of Knoxville. You can listen to the episode here

Support your parish with online offertory
You can support your parish online by accessing your parish’s website directly or connecting through a secure link provided here. You can make a one-time gift or set up a regular ongoing donation. In either case, rest assured that all proceeds will go directly to your parish just as your regular offertory envelope or a gift in the offertory basket would. Our priests and parishes have always been here for us and will continue to be here for us, now and in the future.  Please continue to provide your support to your parish during this time so they can continue in their vital ministry.
