Welcome to AFSA Marius Coleman-Denton! |
Marius Coleman-Denton joined AFSA on November 17, 2025, as a Simulation Operations Specialist in the Center for Healthcare Improvement and Patient Simulation (CHIPS). Originally from Marion, Arkansas, Marius holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehouse College, and a Master of Science in Biology from Georgia State University.
“As the son of a Medical Doctor and a Dentist, I've always been heavily influenced by the medical/health care community of the Mid South, which is why I developed a love and interest in medicine.”
Marius is excited to work with the UT Health Science Center faculty and staff. As a Simulation Operations Specialist, Marius’s role involves roles setting up and operating simulated educational events which provide student with realistic health care scenarios, allowing students to develop and enhance their health care skills. As someone who is finishing their fourth year of medical school, he looks forward to to sharing his medical school journey, knowledge, and experiences to enhance the health care journey of students.
