Dear friend of SMRI,

This Australian winter has turned out to be all too similar to the last. The Sydney lock-down has temporarily closed SMRI's offices, but as in 2020 our work continues online. We are happy to be presenting or co-presenting a number of upcoming seminars, workshops and symposia, which will highlight a range of important mathematical research. And we look forward to bringing researchers in person to the Quadrangle again as soon as circumstances allow.

At times like these we are even more grateful to our donors, whose generous pledges of support over the coming years will allow SMRI to hire more research staff as well as to continue our existing programs.
