David Grover, Sr. Director of Cyber Initiatives, represented Baylor at the 2026 NSA CAE Community Symposium in Pittsburgh this spring, connecting with faculty, administrators, and partners from CAE-designated institutions across the country.
Baylor's NSA CAE designation opens doors for faculty across disciplines, not just computer science, to collaborate on cybersecurity-adjacent research, access specialized funding, and engage with a national network of institutions. Innovation to Impact Reception |
We had the honor of celebrating Baylor inventors at the 2026 Innovation to Impact reception! This special occasion recognized the remarkable researchers at Baylor University who have disclosed inventions, received patents, and made their work available for licensing. More than sixty honorees in all, gathered at the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative on May 6.
Honorees received custom challenge coins to mark the occasion, and several inventors shared heartfelt testimonials about their experiences navigating the patent process and the support they received along the way. We are deeply grateful to Provost Nancy Brickhouse, Vice Provost for Research Kevin Chambliss, and patent attorney Brit Nelson for taking the time to join us and offer their remarks.
To our inventors and researchers: thank you for your unwavering pursuit of knowledge and for creating innovations that hold the promise of a better world. We are proud to walk alongside you as Baylor continues to grow as an R1 research university!
