Dear parents and families,
As we approach the end of this year, I want to express my gratitude to you for your unwavering support of your student. We know that the support students receive from their loved ones during their college career only reinforces the work we do in the Division of Student Affairs to prepare them for lifelong success. So, thank you for being our partner in this journey.
Please take note of a few important reminders below before your student wraps up the spring semester. I hope your family and your student enjoy the summer. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you back in the fall!
Warmly,
Anna "Dr. G" Gonzalez
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

If your student is living in university housing, know there are specific move-out procedures they must follow. The last day to check-out for non-graduating students is Thursday, May 8. May 8 is a very busy day on campus, so we encourage you and your student to have a move-out plan to ensure the process goes smoothly.
|
We look forward to welcoming your student back to campus in the fall! If your student will be living in university housing for the 2025-2026 academic year, returning student move-in will be Friday, August 22 through Sunday, August 24. Fall varsity athletes and student leaders supporting Fall Welcome may have a different arrival dates. If this applies to your student, please have them confirm their arrival date with their coach or program leader.

The semester-based academic calendar provides students, faculty and staff with important dates and deadlines. Review the 2025-2026 Academic Calendar for the first day of classes, breaks, reading days, exams, etc.

Workday Changes for Families |
If you pay all or a portion of your students’ tuition, your student will need to give you access to Workday. If you have more than one student attending WashU, each of your students will need to give you access to see their account balances and make payments. Additional changes for parents and family members include account statements and payment plans.
