PDX People: Four Stories of Extraordinary Customer Service
Being aware of your surroundings isn't just the key to safety at PDX, it's also part of extraordinary customer service. Whether it's noticing a puzzled or distressed expression, listening closely to a customer's needs or knowing where to find answers – being knowledgeable and observant are fundamental ways PDX People make travelers to our airport feel welcomed.
To recognize airport employees who truly stand out as extraordinary, the quarterly PDX People Customer Service Awards ceremony was held on Oct. 26. The PDX People working committee selected recipients from each of the airport industries to honor at the event. Read the stories of our latest winners or watch the recording of the live event.

What's New with PDX Next: October Forum
Look no further – we've got the inside scoop on construction at PDX. Jen Reynolds with the Port of Portland along with Pat Bifone and Caitlin Powell of Hoffman-Skanska shared the latest construction updates and answered your questions about PDX Next. This month's forum covered the construction elevator you've likely noticed on the upper roadway, scaffolding removal in the ticket lobby, baggage claim carousel openings and closures, bypass connector finishing touches, roof construction previews and Concourse B updates.
