This week in 1911, a group of Georgia Tech students printed the first issue of the Technique. In 1945 it adopted the tagline “The South’s Liveliest College Newspaper.” For 114 years, students have found their voice and amplified the stories of their peers through this print and digital platform — all without a traditional journalism program on campus.
Today, the newspaper operates out of the Student Media Suite on the second floor of the John Lewis Student Center.
