Join the Center staff and the Student Association to help give back to the community! |
The UMA Ellsworth Center will be joining other sponsors from around the Ellsworth area to help clean this very important tributary of the Union River. This year the Clean-Up is on Saturday April 26 from 8:45 AM to Noon. with a rain date of Saturday, May 3.
Participants should remember to wear sturdy footwear that can get wet and muddy. Waders are recommended! Trash bags, gloves, safety vests, water and snacks will be provided. All minors need to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.

We hope that everyone enjoyed the event as much as we did. Both the staff and the Student Association at the UMA Ellsworth Center hope to put on more events like this in the future and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon!
The focus of the Student Association is to create creative and enjoyable ways for student activity funds to be spent to bring students together. Joining is a great way to ensure you are getting the most out of your college experience while also gaining leadership experience for your resume.

Registration is open! Don't forget to speak with your advisor to make sure that your summer and fall 2025 classes go off without a hitch.

UMA is hosting its annual Spring Carnival on Saturday, May 3rd from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Students, Staff and Faculty with their families and friends are invited for a fun day in the Common Area on the grass between the Augusta Campus buildings.
There will be games, music, and activities such as an inflatable slide, Sorb Ball, Rock Climbing Wall and Ax Throwing. Food trucks and carnival food will be available for FREE with a provided ticket. This event is FREE for students, staff, faculty and their guests with a UMA ID.

This year's Cultural Celebration Day on Thursday, April 10th! The annual celebration serves to promote awareness and appreciation of diverse cultures and heritages.
Join us for a day of food, music, and activities in the Fireside Lounge (Augusta campus) from 11:30am to 1:30pm with hybrid activities during the noon hour.

Don't forget about the food pantry that is open to all students and their families here at the Ellsworth Center. We have a wide selection of dried good, household items and even some frozen ground beef and turkey!
The pantry is off the hallway to the right of the entrance, just past the main office.
