What life lessons did you learn at Cal that still impact your daily life? Being open-minded, nothing can replace hard work, value every friendship regardless of how important you think that person will be in your life.
What are some current projects you are working on? I am working on several water treatment projects for various Cities and water systems throughout California, a groundwater recharge project for one of the biggest water districts in the US, and a large water/wastewater infrastructure project for a 1,000 acre multi-use development project in Central California.
How do you tap into your Cal Alumni network? I reached out to the local alumni club and immediately began serving as a volunteer for the club. I currently serve as the Vice President for the Cal Alumni Club of Fresno. I plan and organize our chapter events. We recently held our New Student Welcome Party at Sakura Chaya Tokyo Cuisine in Clovis, CA and were excited to meet 21 new recent HS graduates going to Cal in the Fall (see picture). I joined and continue to contribute to the local chapter because I want to grow the local alumni chapter and establish a stronger alumni presence throughout the Central Valley. From being involved with the Cal Alumni Club of Fresno, I learned that there are a lot more alumni living in the Fresno area than most people realize. There are also a lot more students going to CAL from the Central Valley than most people realize.
