High Holidays
Vanderbilt Hillel celebrated High Holidays with Reform and Conservative services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur as well as Rosh Hashanah Seders (a meal and a service together) and Break the Fast.
Sukkot Fall Fest
This program included several fall festivities including Israeli food tasting, apple cider donuts, live music from members of Harmonic Notion, a dunk tank, and a french fry food truck.
Hillel Out'Dores
Hillel Out’Dores is a community passionate about exploring the natural beauty of Middle Tennessee. This semester students went on hikes to Hidden Lake and Harpeth River State Park.
Challah For Hunger
Students met two times this fall to make challah from scratch and sell the loaves on campus. Proceeds from the bake sales go directly to hunger organizations including Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger and The Nashville Food Project.
Gift of Life
Vanderbilt Hillel partners with Gift of Life, an organization whose mission is to help cure blood cancer. Vanderbilt Hillel students completed several swab drives this semester to add people to the donor registry to save lives.

First Year Student Programming
Vanderbilt Hillel offers a variety of experiences to our first year students. So far, we have had a Picnic at Peabody, an Escape Room experience, and took our First Years to Eastside Bowl at FYSH Fest.
