Dear Student,
You did it!
After a lot of hard work, another academic year comes to an end. Whatever the highs and lows of the year may have been, I hope that the next sunlight filled months will be a different pace or routine for you. Many of you will be working, doing internships, or perhaps traveling, whether through an academic program or for fun. Or maybe it will be just a quiet summer to recharge—not every minute should be about padding that list of accomplishments anyway.
No matter what your plans may be (and a shout out to those of you who are still working on that—it’s all good!), I hope that over the summer you will be able to spend time with those that bring good things to your life, and maybe add some new people to that list. Whatever you end up doing, if you are in the mood to share, send photos! Seriously, I would really love to see what you get up to. And I will share my own favorites with you in the fall.
Before you fully step into summer mode, please join me in thanking our amazing staff for their hard work on your behalf, and in recognizing our talented faculty and administration. We are all lucky to be part of the Tufts community.
If you are graduating, I look forward to celebrating with you this coming weekend. We wish you every success as you move forward in your lives, and we hope that you will cherish and nurture your lifelong connection to the Tufts community and one another.
For those returning to Tufts in the fall, the Student Life team is looking forward to collaborating with you on many community building opportunities. We are excited, energized, and enthusiastic about what lies ahead. But first, let’s all chill for a bit.
Wishing you a great summer,
Dean L
