Hello Hornets!
The Financial Aid and Scholarships Office is excited to share important information about financial aid programs available for the summer sessions!
There are two types of aid available to assist with Summer costs:
PELL GRANT
If you are eligible for a Summer Pell Grant, you will automatically be awarded on your Student Center within two weeks of your enrollment into a summer course(s).
To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
SUMMER LOANS
You are able to request Direct Student Loans by completing the Summer Loan Request Form found on the Student Center > Financial Aid Links box (bottom right-hand side of the page).
Direct Loans have an annual and lifetime aggregate loan limit which determines the amount a student can borrow within an academic year (Fall, Spring, Summer). The Direct Loan annual and aggregate loan limits are available on the Federal Student Aid website.
Summer disbursements will begin once all enrolled classes have begun. Check your class schedule for start dates.
More information
Summer classes are offered through the College of Continuing Education. Tuition and fee charges for summer courses are due prior to the start of instruction. Be sure to review How to Pay for Classes prior to enrollment; there are no fee deferments offered.
