Annual Enrollment is your only opportunity to make benefit elections and changes for the plan year beginning Sept. 1, 2026. You will soon receive the Annual Enrollment and Resource Guide from UT System with new rates and voluntary benefits options, including:

- Additional coverage for critical illness, accidents, and hospital stays.

| EAP Offers Services Beyond Main Campus |
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is expanding access to free and confidential mental health and wellness support by providing on-site counseling, consultations, and programming at the UT Marine Science Institute and McDonald Observatory.
EAP also offers support through embedded counselors and satellite offices across campus with counseling services, manager consultations, and trainings available both in person and virtually.

| Your Payment Details Are Now Safer |
To help keep your payment information secure, Workday has added a new security feature to Payment Elections.
When viewing or updating your direct deposit information, you'll now be asked to enter your current full bank account number to verify your identity.
This change took effect July 1. If you plan to view or update your payment elections, please have your current direct deposit account number available.

Limited Openings at the UT Child Development Center |
The UT Child Development Center has limited openings in PreK-4 classrooms and a very short waitlist for toddlers, twos, and threes beginning Aug. 17. Families with children who are 17-48 months by Sept. 1 can apply and join the waitlist. As a special enrollment opportunity, the center will waive the waitlist fee for state employees who apply before July 6.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselors provide confidential behavioral health expertise to assist the UT community in developing solutions to life's challenges. Administrative support for EAP is provided by UT Austin's Central HR team, but all counseling and management consultation services and communications are accessible only within the EAP as required by law.
