YSU Alumni Giving Back: Mill Creek Park Beautification

In honor of National Volunteer Week 2019, Pete's Pride will join alumni volunteers across the country for a service project on Friday, April 5th at the D.D. and Velma Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens. Pete's Pride members will learn more about Mill Creek Park while enjoying bagels and pastries at 9:00 a.m. The group will pull weeds and plant wildflower tubes in the gardens from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Pete's Pride and local alumni united for National Volunteer Week 2018. They enjoyed a fun morning of walking and playing with the dogs of Animal Charity in Canfield.

Skeggs Lecture Presents: Dan Abrams & Nancy Grace

Assist with passing out YSU materials to guests and join us as Dan Abrams and Nancy Grace take the stage of Stambaugh Auditorium on Tuesday, March 19.

Thomas colloquium presents eddie george

Retired NFL player, actor, entrepreneur, and sports analyst, Eddie George will speak to the Youngstown community on Tuesday, March 26 at Stambaugh Auditorium. Pete's Pride is needed to assist with passing out YSU information prior to the presentation.

Welcome May 2019 graduates to the alumni community by presenting them with their Alumni pins as they line up for the ceremony on Saturday, May 11.

Penguin Preview Day will take place on Friday, June 28.

On February 10, the YSU community and former Youngstown - area residents gathered in Sarasota, FL to celebrate their Youngstown roots. Pete's Pride members Bobbi Spong, Patty Adams '70, Henri Hall '71, Richard Spong '64, Evelyn Mangie '84 & 87, and Kathy and Tom Szush '57 assisted with checking in over 400 guests.
