Iryna Bilan '18 is a native of Ukraine who now spends her days volunteering to support the country's civilian reservists. Bilan has been residing in Lviv where she handles communication efforts for the volunteer initiative.

On April 5, join the GVSU Arts Celebration for An Evening with Hanif Abdurraqib. Abdurraqib, a poet, essayist, and cultural critic, will share ideas from his latest book,
A Little Devil in America: Notes in Praise of Black Performance, followed by a conversation with Dr. Louis Moore, GVSU associate professor of history.

Event Details

The GVSU Women's Basketball team finished their impressive season with the second-most wins in program history and an appearance in the NCAA DII Elite Eight Semifinals.

Six GVSU Alumni nominated for 2022 West Woman Brilliance Awards: Shannon Cohen '00 & '11, Mariah DeYoung '01, Lynnette Collins '95, Ashley René Lee '07, Abigayle Sladick '07 & '18, and Ryan Podvin '13. The Brilliance Awards recognize the dynamic talent, spirit, and intellect of those who tackle issues facing professional women.

The men's track and field team won the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championship and diver Gracyn Segard took first in women’s 1-meter diving at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving National Championships.
