The Graduate School cannot accept graduate student applications once the deadline has passed. We recommend you urge applicants to submit prior to the posted deadlines as those that wait are more likely to have delays in registration and late fees, as well as you needing to review applications last minute.

|
International Students 101 |
Here is some important information regarding our international students!
|
- Full Admission Requirement: International students must be fully admitted or denied admission to their program. Federal regulations prohibit institutions from issuing I-20 forms to students who are conditionally or provisionally admitted.

Full-Time, In-Person Program Requirement: Students must be fully admitted to a full-time, on-campus, in-person, degree-seeking program, as mandated by federal regulations. Immigration documents cannot be issued for online, part-time, or certificate programs.

Documentation for Graduate Assistants: If hired as a Graduate Assistant, international students must provide valid documentation that verifies their identity and employment eligibility. For more information, please refer to the Graduate Assistant and the International Center.

Commencement for graduate students is December 13th, at 4:00 PM!

Ensure that eligible students have applied to graduate! If a student needs to graduate and has not applied, you must submit a late graduation application on their behalf.

Encourage Your Students to Present at the U-GLIDE Symposium |
The Undergraduate – Graduate Learning, Inquiry, and Distinctive Experimentation (U-GLIDE) Symposium is UNF's annual interdisciplinary conference, providing both undergraduate and graduate students with a platform to showcase their research and creative projects. Held each fall, this event highlights student innovation across disciplines.
Key Dates to Share:

- Abstract Submission Deadline: Sunday, November 17 at 11:59 PM
- Poster Submission for Printing: Sunday, December 1 at 11:59 PM
- Symposium Event: Friday, December 6, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the John A. Delaney Student Union

| Registration Opens November 12 |
Don't forget! Spring registration kicks off on November 12th. Please ensure that you communicate with your students regarding their programs of study and which courses they need to take. It is also important to connect with your new admits so that they understand the course sequencing and available classes for your program.
