ILR Celebrates 25 Years

The Miami University Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) held its 25th Anniversary Celebration on May 4th at the Courtyard by Marriott Riverfront Plaza. Attendees enjoyed swapping stories and sharing decades of happy memories along with many other presenters, participants, and promoters of the popular and purposeful lifelong learning program. This month, Miami will be sending a record number of students to Luxembourg, participating in a variety of different programs. Notably, the MUDEC base and internship programs have increased by over threefold since years past! Students will attend study tours to Sicily and Poland, in addition to taking 9 credit hours of coursework.
Although the application window for Spring 2023 is now closed, Summer/Fall 2023 will open in late-summer with a deadline of December 1. Information sessions will be offered both in-person and virtually.
