USING YOUR BREAK PRODUCTIVELY
Now that grades are posted you can reflect on the fall semester and make wise choices for the spring. That may mean:
  • changing some course selections
  • pulling back on some extracurricular activities
  • looking to gain some clinical or community service experience
Beyond that, while you are home, are you getting some rest and relaxation? Are you talking with people you know in the healthcare field about their work, and their ideas about the issues & challenges facing healthcare providers?
Summer Opportunities
Seven students shared their experiences with us as we held our annual panel earlier this month.

Brooke Juhel ’21 interned at Cohen Children’s Hospital on Long Island and shared this tip: “Advocate for yourself. When I started it was not clear exactly what they had for me to do but by talking to different people, asking for tasks, and letting them know what I was capable of, I wound up having a terrific experience.
Make sure you also check out this document with information about summer opportunities
