Weekly Happenings
Living Waters for the World Mission Trip
WPC members, Doug and Sylvia Leins and Carson Salyer recently went to  Iquitos, Peru, on behalf of Living Waters for the World. They visited/assessed water needs of Abba House (for boys abandoned by families too poor to keep them -- youngest boy is 4yo); Colegio El Redentor (500 students who live in the surrounding Human Settlement); and three churches, Nueva Vida en Cristo, Getsemani, and Iglesia Real de Iquitos. Currently, they are awaiting the lab results of water samples taken for testing to help determine what type of filtration system is needed. The sites are in initial planning stages; each needs to construct or modify a room to house a filtration system and bottling/bottle cleaning stations. Look for updates over the next year as plans and dreams come to fruition. Our Peruvian brothers and sisters in Christ send thanks and blessings to WPC for all the generosity in this mission.
