Update to Vaccine Eligibility
Beginning Wednesday, March 24, at 8 a.m., anyone 16 years of age and older can register for a vaccination appointment at state sites, including the University of Arizona POD, at podvaccine.azdhs.gov. The Arizona Department of Health Services made the announcement this morning. This includes our out-of-state students, staff, and faculty members. You will need to bring a government-issued ID.
If you are unable to find an appointment slot, check again after 11 a.m. this Friday, when new slots will be opened for the week of March 29.
Information about all vaccination sites across Arizona can be found at the AZDHS find vaccine webpage. Anyone who needs help registering can call 844-542-8201 or 602-542-1000 to be connected with someone who can assist in English or Spanish.

Face Cover Policy
While we are thrilled that the number of people who have been vaccinated continues to grow, we want to remind the campus community that our mask policy has not changed.
Face coverings requirements:
- They must cover the nose, mouth and chin.
- They must be worn in all University buildings, including classrooms, libraries, campus recreational facilities and other instructional settings (unless you are alone in a single occupancy office).
- They must be worn outdoors while on any University of Arizona property where continuous physical distancing of at least 6 feet is difficult or impossible to maintain.
Vaccination does protect the vast majority of recipients from severe infection and transmission of the coronavirus, but it is not a guarantee. Only by using all the tools in our toolbox – which include face coverings, vaccination, social distancing and hand-washing – can we ensure the University of Arizona is a safe place to learn and work.
