Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions (IPPS) has an important update for payees that use Payment Compass to manage their registration information.
UC San Diego is launching a new payee management tool called PaymentWorks on April 3rd, 2023. PaymentWorks combines the streamlined payee process of Payment Compass with a secure payment service that maintains a robust defense against increasingly complex fraud schemes. PaymentWorks offers a user-friendly, self-service platform that enables you to check your registration status and invoice status in real time. Additionally, it allows you to securely manage your supplier/payee profile, ensuring that any updates to your payment information are quickly processed and reflected in the University's financial systems.
UC San Diego will be launching PaymentWorks in phases. No immediate action is required at this time. However, once PaymentWorks launches, you will no longer be able to update your registration information in Payment Compass. If you need to update your information after April 3rd, please reach out to your UC San Diego department contact to obtain PaymentWorks access. We will be sending targeted communications to specific groups in the future to provide additional details on the transition process and any necessary actions that may be required.
