February 1: Last day to apply for Spring degree candidacy without a late fee. After this date a $50 00 Late Candidacy Application fee will be assessed
February 9: Last day to change from pass/fail to regular grading or vice versa with only instructor approval on a Change of Schedule form
February 10: Instructor's and dean's signatures are required on a Change of Schedule form to change from pass/fail to regular grades or vice versa
February 25: Reading day, no classes

Join the Marine Awareness & Conservation Society!
The Marine Awareness and Conservation Society (MACS) is a student-run organization that promotes the conservation of marine ecosystems through public outreach events, philanthropy, and the promotion of scientific discovery, advocacy, and solutions.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are holding our meetings via Zoom this semester, and are holding meetings every other week at 6pm. We plan on having guest speakers regularly come to our meetings to speak about work in marine science, conservation, and education and plan on creating activities that members can be involved in!

The Arizona Leadership Endorsement tells future employers and graduate/professional schools that the University of Arizona verifies that you have the leadership skills, knowledge, and values that make you a candidate who will rise to the challenge.
To earn the endorsement, you complete a process that's similar to a job application: to start the process, simply submit a resume and cover letter that highlights your leadership skills and complete your Handshake profile. Apply by February 7.

Zoetis is looking for students for a Summer 2021 virtual internship program. There are opportunities in a variety of areas within the company and students from all CALS majors will find an internship of interest.
The Zoetis Summer Intern Program offers students in the U.S. the opportunity to gain real-world experience in our award-winning culture, grounded in our Core Beliefs. Our summer internships typically occur in the May-August timeframe and openings are posted in the fall of each year.

CALS Student Professional Dress Needs Survey
The CALS Career Center is always looking for ways to support students. From initial job searches to interviewing practice to cultivating the entrepreneurial mindset, we strive to provide students with all the necessary knowledge and tools to help students be successful.
Nationwide research has indicated that there are growing numbers of students who are unable to access the professional clothing required of these interviews and positions. In order to better assess the need of our CALS students, we ask that you take the time to complete this survey.
Responses are anonymous and information collected will be utilized to provide additional resources to students in need. Please make sure you are logging in with your UA Google account.

Virtual Event: Inspiring Women in STEM

Are you a woman STEM researcher? Do you have questions or concerns about being a woman in STEM? Would you like to learn from women who have distinguished themselves in the STEM field? An interactive panel of inspiring women from cross-disciplinary STEM fields share their unique journeys at this event.
Panelists represent different career stages to offer the broadest perspective possible. Following the panel discussion is a one-on-one networking session where panelists providing attendees with an opportunity to gain further insight.
This event is open to local community members, high school students, and the UArizona community at large and is designed to inspire women in their pursuit of a STEM education and/or career.
