We want to remind you about the upcoming change to how you will receive University communications via email. Starting Sunday, July 13, your new official UT email address—[eid]@my.utexas.edu—will become your official University of Texas at Austin email address.
When this change occurs, all University communications will only be sent to this address, so it will be important to check it regularly.
If you have never used your UT Microsoft 365 account, you can prepare by reviewing the instructions available in the Using Your UT Official Student Email knowledge article. The article includes instructions for accessing your Microsoft 365 account.
Since you already have access to your Microsoft 365 account, you can begin using it immediately. However, please note that the official switch for University communications will not take place until July 13.
