Everett Returns to Puget Sound
|
Alex Everett '22 has joined the Puget Sound Athletics staff as the new Director of Athletic Communications. Everett will oversee all statistics, broadcasting, and media relations for the university's 23 varsity teams. While a student at Puget Sound, Everett participated in the Business Leadership Program, played football as a kicker and punter, and ran his own wedding photography business. He also balanced his time working as a barista at Lillis Cafe and volunteering his photography skills at athletic events around campus.

Alumni Sofie (Arroyo) Reilly '14 and Missy Zenczak Candler '09 were chosen as South Sound Business magazine's 40 Under 40: 2024. Reilly owns and operates Red Elm Cafe in the Hilltop neighborhood, while Candler is the Chief Philanthropy Officer for the nonprofit Greentrike.

Rowing Makes Splash at Nationals
|
The Logger Women's Rowing team capped off their season with a strong performance at the NCAA Division III Rowing Championships. After facing tough competition early on, the Loggers rallied to win the petite final and secure an impressive 7th place overall finish. This marks the program's best team placement since 2010. Head Coach Dave Hammond praised the team's hard work and dedication, highlighting the leadership of the senior class.
