Save the date for next year's Family and Friends Weekend—Feb. 21-23, 2025! In order to provide a dedicated schedule of events specific to parents and families, Family and Friends Weekend for the 2024-25 academic year will be held on campus in the spring. Important Dates

Feb. 1—Spring tuition payment plan enrollment deadline
Feb. 2—Spring tuition balance (or first monthly installment) due date 
Feb. 8—CC in the Spotlight: Career Center virtual event
Feb. 14—End of Block 5 
Feb. 19—Beginning of Block 6
Feb.-Mar.—Housing information sessions for students take place throughout the months of February and March. Encourage your student to attend to learn more about housing selection.

Looking Ahead:
Mar. 14-24—Spring Break; residence halls close at noon (students wishing to stay on campus must obtain prior approval through the Housing Office)
Feb. 21-23, 2025—Save the date for Family and Friends Weekend 2o25

Spring Commencement 2024

Colorado College Commencement
CC welcomes families and guests of graduates, as well as current faculty, staff, and students, to celebrate our 2024 graduates on Sunday, May 19! A schedule of events for the weekend is on the Commencement webpage. Updates and additional information on events and ticketing will be posted online and sent via email in the months to come.
Commencement 2024 will also be livestreamed for families, friends, and supporters of graduates who are unable to attend the ceremony in person. 

Thank you for supporting your students during their time at CC! We look forward to celebrating these incredible graduates and their accomplishments in just a few short months.

Our spring CC in the Spotlight events feature resources you won't want to miss! 
CC in the Spotlight is a free virtual event series specifically designed for parents and supporters of current students to learn more about the many resources available at CC. These informal presentations are interactive and include time for Q&A, conversation, and connection. Tuition and Tax Reminders

Friendly reminders from the Student Accounts Office:
  • Spring term tuition and fees were billed, and statements made available online Jan. 9. (Please login to the billing portal to view your statement if you have not already done so. (Instructions available here.)
  • Spring term tuition and fees are due this Friday, Feb. 2.
    Spring term payment plan enrollment date ends today, Feb. 1. (Note: Families who utilized the payment plan in the fall term will NOT be automatically enrolled in the spring term payment plan.) Please enroll by 5 p.m. MT today (Feb. 1).
Tax Form Update:
All 1098-T (Tuition Statement) Tax Forms are available to view and print online. Please go to the online billing portal to access the tax form.

Spring Concerts

CC's Department of Music Spring 2024 concert season continues! Join us for a live performance if you're in the area, or watch for specific performances that have a livestream option if you can't make it to campus. Keep an eye on the Music Department webpage for additional concerts and updates.
Feb. 7: Music at Midday
Student solo and chamber performances of instrumental and vocal music.
Feb. 8: Faculty Lecture: “Rhapsody in Blue at 100”
Join Ryan Bañagale, department chair and professor of music, for this history-making presentation.
Feb. 13: Live from Packard Hall Faculty Artists Concert
This concert series features a wide variety of music while showcasing the wonderful talents and professionalism of our performance faculty.

Feb. 22: Visiting Artist Concert: Aisha Fukushima
A dynamic multimedia presentation combining storytelling, spoken word, and RAPtivist (rap activist) musical performance.

Don't Miss: The next installment in the Battle for the Gold Pan takes place in Denver on March 9, when the Colorado College men's hockey team takes on the University of Denver at Magness Arena. Join us before the game at Moe's Original BBQ for a pregame gathering with food, drink, and giveaways. Then cheer on the Tigers as they take on the Pioneers in one of college hockey's greatest rivalries. Space is limited, so click here to register and read all the event and ticket details.

A Note from CC's Food Service Provider Bon Appétit

Hello, Tiger Parents!
As we kick off a new year, Bon Appétit will be hosting several exciting activations for your students here at CC.
  • Our registered dietitian, Marina Fella, will be hosting a nutritional tabling for students to take part in during lunch at Rastall’s. She will be guiding students through their calorie intake and how to find new sources of protein.
  • Lunar New Year is upon us, and we will have several exciting dishes served out of Benji’s (like black bean bao buns, ramen, dumplings, and a special dragon roll).
  • Our community engagement manager, Cassidy Schnell, will host a DIY station for our students who are lactose intolerant (or those who choose not to drink lactose) where they can learn how to make their own oat milk.
  • On Feb. 9 we will host a Galentine’s Mocktail pop-up with kombucha from a local vendor, Springs Culture Kombucha.
  • On Feb. 14 our cafes will be decked out to show our love to students with heart themed meals.
