According to the publication, the “2016 Top Women of Law” event celebrates outstanding achievements made by exceptional women lawyers. Each year Lawyers Weekly honors women attorneys who have made tremendous professional strides and demonstrated great accomplishments in the legal field, which includes: pro bono, social justice, advocacy and business. The award highlights women who are pioneers, educators, trailblazers, and role models. Recipients are selected by a panel comprised of members of the community and representatives from Lawyers Weekly’s editorial department.
Starr has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, and has represented a wide variety of clients, including banks and other financial institutions, equity investors, and owners and developers of retail centers, office buildings, hotels, condominium developments, multi-family residential property and mixed use developments.
“We are delighted that Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly recognized Sheryl to be among its 2016 honorees, and we are so proud of her. In addition to being a highly skilled lawyer with tremendous dedication to clients, Sheryl has been a trailblazer at our firm for over 30 years as our first female attorney and first female equity partner. She is a leader, mentor, and role model to others both at our firm and in the community. The honor is incredibly well deserved,” said Neil Markson, Managing Partner of Bernkopf Goodman.
