Duke’s 100th Class Is a ‘Talented and Diverse’ Collection

From Florida to Washington State and New York to California, students from all 50 states and 87 countries gathered at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 25, to mark the opening of the academic year.

The Class of 2028 Has Its Photo Moment

Against the backdrop of the newly named George and George-Frank Wall Center for Student Life, the Class of 2028 gathered Friday night for the traditional class photo. And it was a literal blast with confetti shooting out as part of the celebration. The more than 1,700 new students, all wearing white Duke t-shirts, enjoyed the unusually cool August evening to continue a practice that began in 1997.
