OGSAF recently hosted two Graduate Fellowship Application Night events which reviewed the resources available to students interested in seeking external funding.

Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowship |
Deadline: December 15, 2023
|
This fellowship program was established to continue the philanthropic legacy of Dolores Zohrab Liebmann. The amount of each Fellowship will cover the cost of tuition only (no fees) and a $18,000 stipend to be allocated towards room, board, living expenses and income taxes.

Basic Eligibility Requirements
|
- Be a US Citizen
- Demonstrate a need for financial assistance

Be currently enrolled GW graduate students who are in any recognized field of study in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences (including law, medicine, engineering)
- Have an outstanding undergraduate record (i.e. 3.5 or above)

The national selection committee has a strong preference for supporting scholarly endeavors. Students in Law, Medicine or in doctoral programs are encouraged to apply.

Applications are now open!
The Boren Fellowship funds up to $30,000 for language study, research, or internships abroad. The fellowship supports U.S. citizens planning to learn a critical language and study in a country outside of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.

- One-on-one appointments to answer questions about funding opportunities
- Assistance with award administration
- Fellowship advising for NSEP Boren Fellowships and the Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Award
- Maintains lists of external fellowships
