Cloud Forest Interpretation Training

Orchid Pavilion, Conservatory of Flowers
Discover the wonders of the misty, mountainous cloud forests and the remarkable plants that have adapted to live there! This in-person training module will prepare interpretive volunteers to connect visitors to the many Cloud Forests of the Gardens, from Conservatory's Highland Tropics gallery to the Botanical Garden's Southeast Asian, Andean, and Mesoamerican Cloud Forest regions. This training will be relevant whether you prefer roving, leading interpretive stations, or leading public tours. Note that you are welcome to bring a snack or dinner for yourself to this evening training.

Meet-up: Nature Journaling

All volunteers are invited to an informal meet-up group focused on nature journaling. Bring a notebook and supplies and join fellow volunteers for this group inspired by Wild Wonder Foundation. To help you prepare, download their Quick Start Guide to Natural Journaling zine.
