| September Regional Research |
In September, hotels throughout the Southern Oregon Region saw room night Demand grow by 2.1% compared to one year prior, lifting average Occupancy by 2.2% YoY. Southern Oregon hotels averaged 71.2% Occupancy with an Average Daily Rate (ADR) of $130 (+3.7% YoY) for the month.

Oregon Wine Country License Plates Matching Grant Program |
Since 2015, Travel Oregon has administered a program to make grant awards available to “tourism promotion agencies” for projects that promote wine and culinary tourism.
Funding for this matching grant program comes from a portion of sales of the Oregon Wine Country license plate. Since the program’s inception in 2015, more than $2 million has been awarded to support 92 wine and culinary tourism promotion projects.
Guidelines for the 2026-2027 Oregon Wine Country License Plates Matching Grant Program will be available Friday, Dec. 19, 2025. Applications will open on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026. Deadline for application submissions is Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026 at 5 p.m. PT.
