January/February Lincoln-Douglas Topic Analysis Check out the new LD Topic Analysis from Crawford Leavoy, LD Curriculum Director at the Institute for Speech and Debate. You and your students can learn about popular arguments on the January/February topic, Resolved: The United States ought not provide military aid to authoritarian regimes.
| |
"In the very short time that this topic has been debated, rounds have spent a large amount of time looking at what is topical on both sides. That centers more around what is and what is not military aid, but also what is and is not an authoritarian regime. Debaters should begin with establishing what they understand military aid to be and how it works. Only this understanding can actually provide a debater the in-round knowledge in order to prove their topicality." Keep reading »
