Enjoy all of the benefits of a weekend tournament without bus travel or entry fees! On Saturday, December 6, we are hosting a free, all-day Springboard Capstone event. Join us for low pressure, education-focused rounds to hone your students' skills!

Plus, there are four more free, online practices this semester with judges and ballots as part of our Springboard Series. These are ideal practice sessions for speech and debate students who want to build their confidence in competing while also receiving constructive feedback from judges across the nation.

Submit Your Nominations for NSDA Awards
|
High School (District to National) » Each winner of the following district awards is automatically entered into the running for the national-level award when reported by your district chair. This is a special way to recognize excellence, offer a boost to new or rarely celebrated members, and uplift the members of your community who make speech and debate great.
District deadlines vary, so be sure to check with your local leadership about when nominations are due. District chairs must report district winners to us by April 16 for national award consideration!
Middle School (National) » Recognize a coach who champions speech and debate! Nominations for the Middle School Coach of the Year Award are due May 1. These nominations are evaluated by the national office to choose the winner.

Amplify Success with School Announcements

Spread the word about your team's tournament results by submitting content to your school's daily announcements! Students love hearing their name, and they appreciate the positive attention they may gain from their peers and teachers. Send your typed results everywhere you can, and send them every time you compete! Or, tap a team captain to lead this effort.

Invite Students to Learn from an Expert Presiding Officer
|
|
|
Learning directly from national champions is a great way for students to think about their events differently or pick up new strategies. Encourage interested students to register to attend our next Champion Q&A session with Congress champion Jordan Melamed to ask their questions directly, or explore past sessions for other events!
