Student Spotlight
Nina Castellanos
Meet Nina Castellanos! She's quadruple majoring in political science, peace & conflict studies, gender studies and ethnic studies. This is her second year as a CSBS ambassador and first year as a lead ambassador. When asked what inspires her to #bethesolution, Nina said, “I study a lot of feminist politics philosophy and it can seem impossible to ever see a future where systems of oppression are dismantled, but even studying the theory, creating dialogue, educating, and believing in utopian thought is what makes the preconditions possible.”
How are you #bethesolution in action?
SEND US YOUR PICTURES! We want to see YOU being the solution. CSBS turns 50 next year and we can’t wait to celebrate all the inspiring things you have done and are doing to #bethesolution. Each pic you send enters you into a drawing for a CSBS shirt!
How can you send us pictures?
  • Post it on social media: Remember to tag @uofucsbs and use #bethesolution.
  • DM it
  • Email it: Send to dean@csbs.utah.edu
