Seton Hall University is hosting events centered around the celebration of our graduate students as part of the Graduate Student Appreciation Week. The event and activities are a great chance to network and socialize with your graduate student peers and to let you know how important you are to our community.

Holocaust Remembrance Week April 13 – 20

Holocaust Remembrance Week (or Days of Remembrance) is an annual, week-long commemoration honoring survivors and victims of the holocaust.

We continue this good work through the goals of our Strategic Plan and the For All, Forever comprehensive campaign—growing together as a community grounded in mission, belonging, and care for one another.

The Inclusive Leadership Lab - April 17
Leadership, Belonging, & Business for Next Gen Clinicians prepares individuals to lead with purpose, promote inclusion, and explore entrepreneurship through hands on-learning, mentorship, and financial literacy.

2026 Petersheim Academic Exposition: “Share, Honor, Unite”
The 30th Petersheim Academic Exposition will take place from April 20-25, 2026. Witness this annual celebration of scholastic accomplishments that involves the entire Seton Hall University community.

‘Laudato Si’’ Challenge – April 21 and 22
Join the Center for Catholic Studies and the University Core for a chance to win prizes in the Laudato Si’ Challenge by developing a practical, research-informed response to an environmental issue inspired by Laudato Si’. Students can learn more and register here.

The Fourteenth Annual Servant Leadership Day - April 21

South Orange Downtown & SOPAC

The South Orange Police Department (SOPD) presents their 2nd Annual Autism Acceptance Basketball Game: SOPD vs. the Seton Hall University Women’s Alumni Team. The game will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at Walsh Gymnasium at Seton Hall. This community event will support  Nassan’s Place. Seton Hall students and kids under 12 are free.

The Essex County Environmental Center hosts its Annual Earth Day on Saturday,April 25 with crafts, games, and recreational opportunities, such as canoeing and hiking.  

Montclair celebrates Earth Fest on Sunday, April 26, from 12 to 4 p.m. (South Street Park between Bloomfield Avenue and Church Street).
