Student Registration Information 24-25
All students returning to a Hamilton County school next school year must update their information through their PowerSchool parent portal. The window to complete registration for the upcoming year is May 1st - June 1st. Each parent must also complete the Normal Park Google registration form which can be found on our website or click HERE. So just 2 steps to complete registration for next year (Power School and the Google form).
Parent Input for 2024-2025 Placements:
As we start our planning for next year, we always like to provide the opportunity for families to share their thoughts about what type of learning environment they feel is the best fit for their children. We must stress that the class building process takes many areas into consideration when placing students such as their level of academic achievement, knowing their learning styles, understanding their social groups (both positive ones and ones that are less positive), building positive connections with their teachers, and providing a balanced classroom where students can learn from each other - acceptance, understanding, tolerance, and of course, friendship.
Our goal is to find the best placement for each student. The information you share, combined with our daily knowledge of your children is utilized to create classes that we hope will permit each student to be successful. Please note, that in the end, the school reserves the right to make final placements for students. As a reminder, we do not take into consideration any requests for specific teachers due to classroom size restrictions and staffing changes that can happen over the next few months. All input must be submitted here by May 17th to be considered. Do not send an email to administration.
