Welcome to September! Did the summer go by extra fast this year? This is a special time of the year in Stowe as the trees are already showing signs of an early foliage. There is still plenty of time to enjoy some great fall golf and enjoy all that Stowe offers. We hope to see you at The Club!

Friday we are hosting the current cottage dinner menu in the Alpine Club with a wonderful Halibut special to add to the menu with braised endive, roasted champagne grapes and cauliflower corn puree topped with brown butter basted Atlantic Halibut. Saturday we are proudly hosting our annual Penthouse owners dinner at the cottage. There will be no general member dinner on Saturday to celebrate our penthouse members!

The Culinary Team has put together a special Sunday Football menu to enjoy at Kirkwood's Pub or Get packed up for a tailgate party of your own! 

The practice facility at SCC will be undergoing new drainage work starting Tuesday 9/3 that will alter normal operations this week. Hitting stations will be set up in the fairway grass at the short game area for you to continue to work on your game. Shot distance will be limited to 200 yards or less during this process and we will be moving some targets for you to aim at. Please be very aware of the people executing this necessary work and aim your shots well away from them. This process will result in a much drier product that will be more aesthetically pleasing with the reduction of standing water which kills the grass and creates maintenance challenges including inefficient mowing patterns and balls getting lost in the mud. We hope to have this complete by the end of the day on Thursday and will provide updates when available. We appreciate your understanding as we are working to improve your member experience. 

From the team at The Club at Spruce Peak, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you for playing in the 4th Annual Ladies Invitational.  What a spectacular few days of golf we had at The Mountain Course.  The golf course was certainly the star of the show!

We are already looking forward to next year's event, which is tentatively scheduled for August 14 & 15, 2025.  Stay tuned for more details and registration.  In the meantime, we will be working to find ways to make this great event even better!

The Spruce Peak Men’s Invitational scheduled for September 13th -14th  is less than two weeks away and we still have a limited number of spots available. We invite you to join us for two spectacular days of golf and camaraderie at the top of Vermont. This is a  true showcase of our special Club within the Spruce Peak community, and we are fine tuning our plans to make this year's event better than last. Teams can be comprised of two members, a member and a guest or two guests. As members, you are welcome to extend this invitation to anyone in your network that would appreciate an event of this kind. Spruce Peak Fall Wellness Weekend 11/1-11/3

Compassionate Path mindfulness facilitator Courtney Watson returns to 
Spruce Peak this autumn for a weekend dedicated to maintaining wellness 
and balance as the seasons change. Combining in-depth sessions with a focus on meditation, nutrition, connecting with nature, journaling, and more, 
this weekend will build on the tenets introduced in this retreat.
