Connection and support in the BicentennialEach month of the Society of Alumni bicentennial year focuses on a core theme. In March and in recognition of Women’s History Month, events and stories have been grounded in the theme of connection - the beating heart of the Society of Alumni. April focuses on support, highlighting the incredible ways the Williams alumni community lifts up and supports one another through acts of service and expressions of caring.
In the spirit of connection and support, alumni are invited to create teams for an ongoing, 10-part Puzzles in Purple competition. The puzzle hunt will run through August, with a new puzzle released every three weeks.
Today also kicks off our two-month reading period of The Unwinding of the Miracle by Julie Yip-Williams ’97, an especially moving memoir about life in the face of death. Participation in the Purple Prose Book Club discussion forum is free; you just need a copy of the book.
