Welcome, Kristian!

Last year, Kristian Kangas ’18 graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, and society, with an emphasis in bioethics—but she didn’t want to leave. So she joined Career and Employment Services as a new program coordinator to help connect students with resources and opportunities. Kristian describes herself as a “self-taught, voracious crafter” with a penchant for thrifting. We’re glad to have her on staff!

DID YOU KNOW? The best tarte au citron, or lemon tart, is said to be from Menton, a tiny French village near the Italian border. The Menton Lemon Festival attracts more than 200,000 visitors each February, when stunning parade floats are decorated with 120 tons of citrus fruits.
