Promenade Stage

The CA State Fair celebrates our Veterans, military personnel, and first responders. Show your service ID and receive free fair admission. 

There is a parade honoring veterans, K9 police dog demonstrations, fire safety education, and numerous community booths.

HERO Act Firefighters Chili Cook-Off sponsored by Congressman Ami Bera

at the SaveMart California Kitchen Cooking Theater in Building B

Six teams of firefighters showcase their best chili recipes, all in support of first responder mental health awareness. Stop by to sample and cast your vote in the People’s Choice Judging at 4:30pm.

Stop by the USPS booth to learn about stamp collecting, postal history, and fun ways to send mail the old-fashioned
way- plus buy daily CA State Fair Themed Cancellation Stamps.
