An Experience You Won’t Forget: 3M Visiting Wizards Bring Their Science Excitement Back to the Stage! The 3M Visiting Wizards’ amazing interactive stage show will explore the mysteries of chemistry, air pressure, sound, and the science of the ultra-cold and is patterned after the program’s science learning kits. Come see these concepts demonstrated with ordinary items like bathroom scales, toilet paper, metal trash cans and flying ping pong balls.  The show will be presented by analytical chemist Jeff Payne and health physicist Mike Lewandowski.

X-STEM is almost sold out!  Our annual X-STEM Symposium, sponsored by NCR, NBC4 & PwC, will once again bring middle and high school students up close and personal with some of the most inspiring names in STEM! An accomplished biomedical researcher, she is also known as a savvy science communicator who helped reshape the image of STEM as former President Obama’s Senior Policy Advisor in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and now as Founder and CEO of Fly Sci Enterprise, the innovative education and media consulting organization focused on using storytelling to inspire STEM learners of all ages.

For more than twenty-five years, Ms. Lorberg has served in a range of technology and business leadership positions at MasterCard.  In her current role as executive vice president for Product Technology, she’s responsible for MasterCard’s many product technology platforms. 


In his young career, this Mathematics professor at Carnegie Mellon University has already accomplished much, including shedding light on two challenging branches of mathematics, founding his own startup company in math and science learning, and coaching the  U.S.A. International Mathematical Olympiad team to world victory.

Current students and college graduates will have the opportunity to meet with top STEM Companies and Government agencies looking to recruit new talent.
