LLS' Entertainment & Media Law Institute will present the event "The Role of General Counsel in Sports: Understanding the Critical Role of Legal in Business and Sports Operations" from 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8. The event will feature panelists Maggy Carlyle, general counsel, Pac-12 Conference; Todd Davis, vice president for legal affairs, Los Angeles Rams; Bobby Hacker, vice president of business and legal affairs for FOX Sports for two decades; and Alex Winsberg, general counsel, Angels Baseball LP. The LLS Faculty Workshop Series returns on Thursday, Oct. 15 with University of Michigan Professor Leah Litman.

Calling All Bloggers: Jury of Peers Seeks Contributors
Do you love social media? Can't go a day without checking your favorite blog or updating your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account? We are looking for students who enjoy writing and are willing to share their law school experience with others on our Jury of Peers student blog. Bloggers will be required to submit a 150-300 word post every two weeks throughout the 2020-2021 academic year.
