Outerspace anchors
NASA invited a team of mechanical engineering students and alumni to Johnson Space Center to test their Basic Rock Anchoring Device (BRAD), which can attach to a variety of rock textures and ice under microgravity conditions. Protecting the past
Few are aware of TU’s Native American origins: the Presbyterian School for Indian Girls founded in 1892 in Muskogee. Some are fighting to preserve the history and bolster Native American heritage and culture on campus, including groups such as the TU Native American Student Association and the Native American Law Student Association. Both organizations lift up Native voices to prevent further erasure of these foundational stories.
